Life @ SVR College
Campus & Infrastructure: SVR has a distinctive atmosphere where the emphasis is on teamwork, cooperation, and friendly competition. Smaller student groups in classes lead to students developing supportive relationships with one another and faculty members. SVR provides exceptional campus facilities to serve the needs of the student community.
We are now a decade into the 22nd Century and we know what it takes to make a manager in this era. To inculcate a new age management discipline in our students and in order to keep up with the times, the students at SVR are provided with modern, up-to-date amenities and infrastructure. In our ultra-modern campus, the student is on par with his counterparts in other reputed management institutes of the world. Given below is the list of some of the facilities offered by SVR:
Contemporary Classrooms
The classrooms and seminar halls are also fitted with over-head-projectors, screens and speakers to ensure an interactive learning experience.
Library
Library is the Nerve Centre of the institution and at SVR the library is well stacked with the latest editions of all recommended books, periodicals, journals both national and international magazines, audio & video cassettes and CD ROMs for ready reference. A digital library has been established where study materials, previous exam papers, Individual faculty notes, project reports and other research materials have been made available along with other reference materials.
Computer Lab
We at SVR ensure that our students are computer savvy and are proficient in the use of various computer applications that are relevant to their management education. The computer lab is equipped with the latest machines loaded with the latest useful software. The machines are also net-enabled.
Study Material
SVR has prepared extensively researched and periodically updated study materials, for the use of the students. Besides study material SVR also provides a bibliography of reference material to all students. The students are advised to refer to books mentioned in the bibliography for a better understanding of the subjects. The main books recommended for the academic programme of each semester are given on text book loan scheme to each student.
